Food Pantry and Clothing room

We have a well-stocked pantry and clothing room for community residents in need.  Clients are screened by Love INC, then referred to our on-call volunteers.  We serve many families annually, as well as delivering monthly food boxes to seniors in the community.

Food Bank Volunteer Day

DUMC volunteers meet at the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan on the third Wed of each month (Sep-May) from 9am-12pm.  Volunteer hours earn credits toward FBEM food purchases for our church pantry.

Holiday Food Boxes

DUMC offers food assistance to 50 Davison families at Thanksgiving and Christmas, hoping to make their holidays a little brighter.  

Adopt-a-Family

Christmas gifts of toys, clothing, and books are distributed to children of 50 Davison families each year... always a heartwarming experience.

Family Promise of Genesee County

DUMC is a host church providing shelter, food, and hospitality to temporarily homeless families four times annually.  The mission of Family Promise is to end homelessness in our community one family at a time.
