Come join the Gospel Group! Beginning this year, take the challenge to get to know Jesus better by reading about his life through the eyes of four followers. The challenge is to read each of the gospels three times in 2010. The schedule is:

Matthew: January, May, September

Mark: February, June, October

Luke: March, July, November

John: April, August, December

Pastor Debbie’s Sunday School class will meet at 9:45 to discuss each gospel through the year. With or without the class – join the challenge!

Sunday School Rally Weekend

Join Davison UMC as we kick off the Sunday School Year with a Special Rally Weekend!!

Saturday September 12th
6pm: ”Drive-In” Movie Night with snacks, candy and specially made “cars”

Sunday September 13th
9:45am-10:45am – Join us for the first day of Sunday school. We have classes for 2-Adults. Watch this space for more details on the class contents.

11:00am – Our second service will be the Rally Sunday. There will be special speakers to highlight the importance of Sunday School to our growth as follows of Jesus Christ

Davison United Methodist Church invites all children to go to the edge this summer for Vacation Bible Schoo. Camp E.D.G.E.: Experience+Discover God Everywhere is an extreme adventure camp taking kids on exciting Bible treks to experience and discover God everywhere, every day. The fun begins Sunday August 2 and ends Wednesday August 5. The program will run from 5:45-8:00 pm daily.

Each Bible trek is supported with science activities, songs, crafts, games and snacks.

Rock of Ages Relay for Life Benefit Concert April 25th 7pm

Rock of Ages will be performing at the church on April 25th at 7pm. Join us for an evening of timeless classics from the best Big Band in Davison!! A free will offering will benefit Relay for Life.

Spaghetti Supper April 24th 5-7pm

Help support the Davision UMC Food Pantry at our Spaghetti Supper! The menu will include Spaghetti, Marinara, Meatballs, Garlic Bread and delicious desserts. Tickets are $5 in advance or at the door. All proceeds will benefit the Davison UMC Food Pantry. Take out is available as well.

Betsy’s Attic Treasures, April 23

Come check out what United Methodist Women have dug out of the Attic at the Annual Betsy’s Attic Treasures. The event will be held April 23rd from 9am – 4pm and April 24th from 9am – 3pm. Signs will be posted throughout the church directing you on your mission! All proceeds support the missions work of United Methodist Women.
