Lenten Events

March 14th: Rev. Susan Youmans, former associate pastor from here and now serving Nardin Park UMC will lead our worship service.

Lenten Bible Study: Pastor Debbie will lead a study, 24 Hours that Changed the World by Adam Hamilton. Studies will take place on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 and Thursday evenings at 7.

Prayer Stations: Come to the lower level room outside the classrooms to experience a prayer reflection time with interactive stations. This will be designed and aided by our youth. Beginning 3-21 thru 4:2

Holy Week

Palm Sunday: The choir will present the cantata Raise the Crown in full at the 11:am service. Selections will be sung at the 8:30 am service.

Maundy Thursday Service: We will ahve a potluck meal with all the fixings on Thursday, April 1st at 6:30 pm in the fellowship hall. At 7:30 we will have a communion service and reflection of Jesus’ last night with his disciples.

Good Friday: On Friday, April 2nd, we will gather at 12:15pm in the sanctuary for a reflection time using the stations of the cross. We will learn the history and enter into a time of music and prayer on each station.

Saturday Prayer Vigil: On Saturday, March 22nd from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm the church will be open and people can sign up for half hour prayer times in the sanctuary.
